Honoring our Friend & Hero while providing for future generations.

Special Forces SGM Brad Conner was killed in Iraq on May 9th, 2007. To pay tribute to Brad, his high school classmates established the "Brad Conner Memorial Scholarship". The scholarship is a way to give back to the community that Brad called home.

Over the last few years, the scholarship committee has hosted a golf tournament/dinner auction to raise money for the scholarship. To date, $5,000 in scholarships have been awarded as well as 4 laptop computers (computers are donated by classmate R.F.).

2008: Scholarship recipient Adam Furlin, Computer recipient Jeremiah Bigspring
2009: Scholarship recipient Cole Lewis, Computer recipient Chelsea Hoffman
2010: Scholarship recipient Nicole Lewis, Computer recipient Lee Fink
2011: Scholarship recipient Keagan Hadley, Computer recipient Anton Fararro

The scholarship committee is thankful for all the success of the past tournaments. It is with the golf tournament & dinner auction that the money is raised for the Brad Conner Memorial Scholarship (100% of profit goes directly to the scholarship fund and is processed through the Kellogg High School ASB account)). This years event will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Galena Ridge/Silver Mountain Gondola Village in Kellogg, Idaho.

Mamas' Poem:

Our son worked hard, he studied hard, he faced what was in store.
He didn't hesitate to respond when opportunity knocked at his door.

Heeding the statement "No pain, No gain" his mind and body were put to the test.
Make no mistake, That's what it takes when determined to do your best.

His heart for his family and country, his life was a two edged sword.
Unafraid to challenge evil, Unashamed to serve the Lord.

Two somber, yet compassionate faces, the identifying uniforms they wore.
Struck anguish deep within our hearts as the chaplains knocked at our door.

He honored the call of God on his life, How can a soldier do more ?
When duty called, he said "I'll go" when the savior knocked at his door and called him home.
