Bradly Dean Conner was born March 5, 1966 in Tacoma, Washington to William & Kay Conner. At the age of four, his family relocated to beautiful North Idaho. Brad attended elementary school in Coeurd' Alene. Junior High & High School was attended in Kellogg. While in school, Brad participated in: football, basketball, track, ROTC, choir and drama. After graduating in 1984, he continued his education at University of Idaho and North Idaho College. In 1987, Brad enlisted in the Army. After completing basic training at Fort McClellan, Alabama Brad continued with advanced individual training at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama. That is where he met and married his wife, Cyndi. In 1992, Brad signed up for the Special Forces training program. Upon completeion, he was assinged to 10th Special Forces Group (A) as a Special Forces medical sergeant at Fort Carson, Co. He filled serveral positions in the 10th SFG to include 2nd Battalion S# Operations NCO, Team sergeant and first sergeant for HHC. In 2006, Brad graduated from Sergeant Major Academy in El Paso, Texas. He was hand selected to be Special Forces Company Sergeant Major to Company C, 2nd battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Fort Lewis, Wa. His 20 year military career took him to many foreign lands such as: Bosnia, Kosovo, Polland, Iraq, Italy, Kuwait, Norway, Serbia, Turkey and Germany.
Despite his successful military career, Brads pride and joy was his family. Brad and Cyndi married in 1989. The military moved them around some, but they spent most of their time at Fort Carson in Colorado. Son Aaron was born in 1993, followed by daughter Katie in 1994 and finally daughter Rachel in 2000. When Brad wasn't deployed, his full focus and attention was on his wife and children. They would travel between Alabama and Idaho, go camping, snow skiing, participate in sporting activities and end each day with a big bowl of ice cream.
Above all things, Brad had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He and Cyndi where active on church, raising the children with Godly principles and direction.
Brad leaves behind a beautiful wife and three outstanding children of Alabama, parents Bill and Kay Conner of Idaho, brother Bruce Conner of Idaho, brother Brian Conner of Washington, sister Brenda Day and family of Washington, aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and numerous friends.
